Bus depot/Light pollution

from cycle: Urban landscapes

In my work “Bus depot” I have explored and considered light as a pollutant. I used light gently as a medium, trying to find it’s simple and essential Beauty. I even converted light into darkness and experimented with this reverse effect.
I l used paper as a material which allows me to build an artificial urban Landscape taking the influence of light into consideration.  I was fascinated by the juxta positioning of light and architecture, and shadows.
My work involved photographing light at night being wasted as it emanated from the glass roof of a huge bus depot. I thus used this pollutant light by transferring it onto paper, which at the end of my project could itself be recycled.
